Get Lost In Bocas | Bocas Del Toro, Panama

Whether you take a zip line canopy tour through the jungle, or begin your morning with a peaceful boat ride over turquoise waters to one of the many beautiful beaches, you will find much pleasure in a week or two spent here.  Bocas Del Toro is not about art galleries, museums or big buildings…it is about the people, the culture and nature at it’s best.  There is so much to do here, such as snorkeling or diving at Hospital Point, visits to indigenous Indian villages or spend a few hours on Red Frog Beach.

Take a boat tour to Starfish Beach, where you can spend your time relaxing in the beautiful water, catching glimpses of bright colored sea stars that are all over the sea floor.  Rent a bike and ride out to Playa Paunch and Playa Bluff where you will find BEST surfing beaches.  Visit the Blue Morpho butterfly garden, enjoy watching the white-faced monkeys, see the baby sea turtles at Bluff Beach, visit the Botanical Gardens and if you are an adventurer, crawl thru the bat cave that is famous for it’s beautiful grotto.

The night life and cuisine here are equally diverse, something for everyone including a lesson in the salsa if you so desire.  There is every kind of restaurant, from local Panamanian dishes to Italian to seafood..take your pick, it is all here.  Lodging is abundant with hotels and villas at very reasonable prices.  Check out the Red Frog Beach Villas, Palma Royale or El Limbo, built completely over the clear water.
