Jackson Hole | Jackson, Wyoming

Jackson Hole in Wyoming has the Grand Tetons National Park to the north and national forest in every other direction, and has gone from an isolated blue collar town to a major tourist destination. Some people refer to it as a winter wonderland as well! Pioneers sought new adventures here during their time, and now people flock there to explore on skis, mountain bikes, rafts, and even horse drawn stagecoaches. Besides the breathtaking views, this beautiful town now has top performance and art venues, not to mention mega ski resorts.

High season in Jackson Hole is Summer and Winter, but Fall is a great time to go as well and you will save big bucks! Jackson Hole is a prime location for nature loves too, with Yellowstone Park close by, as well as the Grand Teton national parks.  It is also a special haven for wildlife and a visit to the stunning National Elk Refuge and a soak in the Granite Hot Springs is a MUST! Of course, winter is peak season due to the awesome ski resorts such as Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Snow King Resort and Grand Targhee Resort.

Be sure and make time to visit the Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum, as well as the National Museum of Wildlife Art, where you will experience Jackson Hole’s newfound love for the arts and enjoy over 2,000 works of wildlife art, some dating back to 2500 B.C.  Last but not least is a night of notable performances at the Jackson Hole Playhouse where you will enjoy country-style cuisine served by the cast and be serenaded with every course.  Plan your trip to Wyoming, and experience it like the pioneers did.
