The Betsy South Beach Hotel | Miami, Florida

Built in 1942 and designed by L. Murray Dixon, one of the founding fathers of South Beach’s world famous art deco district, the Betsy South Beach underwent a complete restoration in 2009 and emerged on the top of the list of hip SoBe Art Deco Hotels!  It even has its own personal piece of sand on the infamous South Beach with loungers, a well-stocked bar, umbrellas and excellent service!  From its stylish rooftop bar to its stellar spa services, this hip SoBe hotel has it all!  And if you are an admirer and supporter of the arts, culture and philanthropy, the Betsy also goes above and beyond in its support of many charities.

If you prefer to spend a day at the Betsy, there is a great little pool with comfortable loungers, a great little laid back bar in the lobby. Excellent spa services are provided on the rooftop and there is also a library, complete gym, Wi-Fi and last but not least, the nationally famous BLT Steakhouse restaurant. You will definitely be able to indulge in excellent sushi at the sushi bar and/or enjoy one of the menu fav’s, the ribeye, the Dover Sole or the Tuna Tartar!

When you venture out, be sure and have a cocktail or two at the Liquor Lounge on Collins Ave, the Lost Weekend on Espanola or the Shore’s Club, also on Collins Ave.  You are on South Beach, so all the local restaurants are beyond excellent, some of the best would be Prime One Twelve, Osteria del Teatro and Casa Tua’s!
