Amankila Resort & Spa – Bali, Indonesia

The definition is “Peaceful.”

The Amankila Resort sets the bar in Bali offering 34 huge, luxurious freestanding villas with breathtaking views. The resort has a gorgeous three tiered infinity pool set into the cliffside on the east coast of Bali, and a 134-foot beachside swimming pool with staffers catering to your every need.

All of the villas have awesome views and are connected to each other by raised walkways over stunning gardens. This location is prime in Bali as well because it is less developed and one of Bali’s most traditional regions, offering excellent local crafts and a lot of history.

Accommodations here are all-suite, and are elevated on stilts so that guests get the best sea views from the resort’s cozy hillside. There is also views of Mt. Agung, and views over the Lombok Strait, and the private beach. There are 6 styles of suites here with everything you need to have fun, relax, and reunify with yourself.

Guests enjoy amenities like Wi-Fi, spacious bedrooms, amazing views, soaking tubs, hand carved king sized beds, thatched roofs with high ceilings and outdoor terraces with daybeds. Six of the suites offer private swimming pools enclosed in private courtyards, while others have breathtaking garden, or ocean views with large terraces to enjoy it all from.

Dining is an amazing experience at the Amankila. The private chef here will prepare an exquisite feast for you by the beach, a candlelit dinner beside rice fields, or alongside the breathtaking cliff. You can also experience the magic of the chef here in the privacy of your own suite or just head to the restaurant. You will be amazed! The food is so good, you will be glad there is a spa for a full body massage or Balinese beauty treatment from the local village healer.

The Amankila also offers a pristine, private beach for sunning and relaxing and if you are adventuresome, you can go kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, boogie boarding or windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving or take a tour of some of the local villages nearby for some amazing shopping and a visit to the beautiful Bali temples. Bali is calling. Will you heed the call? Of you will, start at Amankila Resort.
